Address: 80 Blue Jays Way 44th Floor, Toronto, ON M5V 2G3, Canada
A rooftop social destination high above the Entertainment District, where Baja-Californian sharing plates and agave cocktails carry you from long lunches to late golden-hour evenings.
The concept
Perched on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel, KŌST channels the laid-back coast of Baja California: seafood-forward plates, plenty of tequila and mezcal, and a menu made for grazing across a long, sunny table. From hospitality group ICONINK, it’s designed as a destination as much as a meal.
What to order
Open with tuna ceviche, hamachi crudo and octopus carpaccio, then work through the tacos — achiote chicken, braised short rib — and coconut shrimp. Bigger appetites can share the bone-in rib steak or the spicy tequila rigatoni. Round it out with a Baja Splash or a frozen margarita and finish on tres leches.
The Space
An open-air rooftop with sweeping views over the city and Lake Ontario, anchored by a much-photographed infinity pool. The mood is coastal and easy — light tones, warm evenings — and the crowd builds as the sun drops toward the water.
Who it’s for
For groups celebrating, friends catching up over cocktails, and anyone who treats a great dinner and a great view as one and the same.
Questions and answers
Are reservations recommended? Yes — as a rooftop destination it’s busiest in the evenings and through the warmer months, so booking ahead is the safest way to secure a table.
What about vegetarians? There’s enough to build a meal — guacamole, the watermelon and Caesar salads, and vegetable-led small plates sit alongside the seafood and grill.
What’s the signature order? Share a ceviche and a spread of tacos, then pair with a tequila cocktail — it’s the coastal, convivial way to eat here.
Can it host a larger group? Yes — the sharing menu and lounge-style setting suit celebrations and group dinners; give notice for bigger parties.
Is it a summer-only spot? The rooftop shines in warm weather and at sunset, though the indoor space keeps it open beyond the patio season.
