Opened in 2009 on Queen Street West, The Cabinet Salon has been voted one of Toronto’s best hair salons — and it runs on a refreshingly clear model: gender-neutral hourly pricing, no gratuities, and a serious commitment to sustainability. It’s a design-led salon where the ethics are as considered as the colour.

The Cabinet works with AG Hair Care across shampoos, conditioners, masks, serums and styling products. Sustainability is certified rather than claimed: as a Green Circle Salon it recovers up to ninety-five per cent of its beauty waste, and it directs five per cent of retail sales to the Rainbow Railroad foundation.
